Under the guidance of the architect Sergio Calatroni,
Ecopietra has created the flooring for celebrated fashion designer
Romeo Giglio's boutique in Milan's Via Della Spiga,
in the heart of the city's fashion triangle.
Of primary and fundamental importance was the initial search for large
slabs of stone with the distinct and unique chromatic nuances resulting
from the natural fossilization of rock strata over thousands of years. |

These stone slabs formed the basis for a mosaic
floor which is in total harmony with its surroundings and holds its
own in the dialogue with the designer's outfits hanging on display,
themselves an illustration of his own careful attention to detail,
outline and colour.
A blend of fashion, art and nature, combining to create a magical setting. |
